Discover the rich history of Philadelphia, one of the oldest and most iconic cities in the United States. Located in the state of Pennsylvania, this city played a central role in the birth of the nation. Known for its dynamic cultural scene and significant contributions to American history, Philadelphia is also a vital economic hub thanks to its large commercial port the busiest on the East Coast.
On this guided excursion, you'll explore landmarks that helped shape the country. Visit the Liberty Bell, a powerful symbol of American independence, and step into Independence Hall, where the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence were both debated and signed. These historic sites are nestled within the Independence National Historical Park, a must-see for any history enthusiast.
Whether you're a lover of history, culture, or simply looking for a fascinating day trip, this excursion offers a deep dive into the spirit of American democracy. Join us as we walk the same streets once traveled by the nation’s founders and uncover the enduring legacy of Philadelphia.

A fairly touristy attraction but still interesting to learn about Amish beliefs and way of life. The community itself remains private, but the museum explains their traditions and daily routines. There are several small shops selling local products and crafts. Worth visiting if you’re nearby, but not something to go out of your way for

4.5 stars The tour guides (Mark and David B.) were informative during the house tour and backroads tour. We came to understand more of the why questions that we have to fully understand the Amish people and culture. Maybe minus 0.5 star because it felt very short. Maybe they could include interactive activities like butter churning or give booklet/ pamphlets to read on. Having to work in healthcare near the area, I believe that I needed to have a bit of understanding in their way of living. So a big thanks to the tour guides for giving their best to explain as much as they can.

Me and my 7 year old did the self guided tour through the village. We did have a tour from a guide through out the home explaining the history of the Amish and details of the home (all 3 floors!). After that, it’s just you and yours — variety of farm animals that you can feed and pet. You can check out the one room school house, a small play-set, and covered bridge. Very cute and informative visit. Did have a kind of large crowd but it was an 80 degree fall Saturday! Wait time about 10 minutes.

Visiting the Amish Village in Lancaster was such a unique and educational experience. We did the premium package tour, which included the bus ride through Amish farmlands as well as the farmhouse and museum tour. It was informative, and we learned a lot about the Amish way of life, traditions, and community values. Time Needed: The premium tour itself takes a few hours, but if you want to truly experience the area, plan for an entire day or even two. There’s so much more to explore nearby — local markets, smorgasbords, and the Strasburg train ride through Amish farms. Food: Don’t miss a local Amish buffet or smorgasbord; hearty, homemade-style food that adds to the cultural experience. Extras: We didn’t do the buggy ride, but it looked like it would have been a wonderful and Amish experience. Tip: Avoid Sundays. Most shops and markets are closed as the Amish observe church duties, so visiting on another day gives you the full experience. Overall, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Lancaster County. A mix of history, culture, and local flavors that can’t be rushed.

Great Amish Experience to learn the Amish lifestyle. Tour of Amish house, one-room schoolhouse, and brief movie. Horse and buggy rides to a real working farm with animals. We ALL loved it from age 9 to 67. Sandy, our house tour guide was awesome! John, our buggy guide was knowledgeable, friendly and had a wonderful personality! It was a very fun and enjoyable time!
